Kami

Kami is our Standard BET Australian Shepherd. She's your typical velcro Aussie. She is a one person dog and has bonded very strongly to me. If I am in the area, no one else may give her commands. She is overjoyed to be cuddled! She loves to take long exploring walks, and regularly comes running back to check in, and make sure she isn't needed for anything. She is somewhat cautious when meeting strangers away from home, but anyone who comes to her home is family. She is extremely intelligent, and highly biddable. On the energy scale, she sits somewhere in the middle. She loves to run and play, but her main goal is to know exactly where I am and what I am doing at all times. She has an excellent 'off' button when you bring her in the house. She has an extremely soft silky coat, heavy bone, and weighs around 50-55lb, standing around 21''. She enjoys tummy rubs, snorkeling in the pond, going on trail rides with the horses, playing keep away with Audi, and trying to get the cat to run. She loves to go horseback riding and loves our little goats. She is AKC registered and has had a full genetic panel done, testing as a carrier only for MDR1 and DM!
