Our Story

Heartland Aussies is owned and managed by myself ( Kara) and my husband Justin.

We live on a 5 acre 'Farmette", nestled in the heart of Northern Indiana's beautiful farmland. We were both born and raised here, and we are involved with and love the close-knit agriculture community here. 

Justin is an Ag pilot and an airplane mechanic and flies for a local operator, supplying our local farmers needs from the air.

I ( Kara) work part time training horses and keeping things running at home. 

Together we love our family, our country, and most of all our Saviour Jesus Christ!

Having pets growing up, and loving having a dog along for all our horse riding adventures helped inspire our dog breeding venture, and we LOVE providing healthy, happy adventure buddies for others!

There’s no better feeling than when we match one of our precious pets with their caring new owner. It’s why we put so much time, love and effort into making sure these special animals continue to be bred.

No amount of research and preparation can prepare you for what you're getting into with raising puppies, and we’ve learned a lot about the process since we first started breeding these beautiful dogs back in 2016. We absolutely love it, and we are excited to bring one of these fluffy friends into your lives!
